Matthew Bargo
DVM, Veterinarian/Owner
I grew up in a small town in Southeastern KY much like Boaz. I attended EKU for my undergraduate degree, UK for my master’s, and AUBURN for my veterinary education. I purchased B and A in the summer of 2011 from Dr. Martin and began working here full-time in 2013.
Courtney Baugher-Windham
DVM
Dr. Courtney Baugher-Windham grew up in Alabaster, Alabama. She received both her Bachelor’s in Animal and Dairy Sciences and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University. Her main professional interests include internal medicine, preventive health care, client education, and exotic animal medicine and surgery. She is also Fear-Free certified. No matter the animal, Dr. Baugher-Windham looks forward to building lasting relationships with both her patients and clients.
Our Staff
Amanda
Amanda has been working in Veterinary medicine since 2006 and is a graduate of Jefferson State Community College. She has an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and is English/Spanish bilingual. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her son and animals.
Jana
Jana’s love of animals has kept her working here in the veterinary field since 2013. She has two sons, Bailey and Warren. They live in Asbury, AL.
April
April and her husband have lived in Boaz AL since 1999. Together they have 3 children and one grandchild. April is new to the Veterinary field but has always had a strong love for animals and has had several rescues at home.
