Matthew Bargo, DVM
I grew up in a small town in Southeastern, KY much like Boaz. I attended EKU for my undergradate degree, UK for my master's and AUBURN for my veterinary education. I purchased B and A in the summer of 2011 from Dr. Martin and began working here full time in 2013. My wife, Martha, is also a vet and we have two children together, Haley, age 6 and Matthew, age 2. We love the outdoors and spending time with our menagerie of animals at our small farm.
Andrew Tucker, DVM
Dr. Andrew Tucker is a native of Carthage, MS. After graduating from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, he attended veterinary school at Mississippi State University. Dr. Tucker joined the staff at B and A Animal Hospital in May 2017. His interests include large animal reproduction, preventative medicine, and small animal medicine and surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Tucker enjoys the outdoors (specifically deep sea fishing), softball, watching college sports, raising cattle, and spending time with family.
Amanda has worked the last 11 years in Veterinary Medicine as a Veterinary Technician. She graduated from Jefferson State Community College with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She is English/Spanish bilingual. She enjoys spending her free time with her son Jaxon and taking care of her dog Ruger and cat Mia. They live in Sardis City.
Jana has worked in the veterinary field for over 4 years. She has two sons, Baily and Warren, that attend Asbury High School. She has been married to her husband Tim for 6 years and they have 3 dogs and 2 cats.
Lauren is new to the veterinary field. She enjoys participating in animal rescue and spending time with her dogs Beau, Bubba, Lilly and Murph. She is a Fyffe High School graduate and currently lives in Grove Oak.
Debbie has worked in the Veterinary field for going on five years as a Veterinary Technician. She is currently enrolled in school at San Juan Community College to complete her degree in Veterinary Technology. She lives in Guntersville with her two dogs, four cats, and bearded dragon.
